About the Teacher

Dr. Vishakha Modak (MBBS)
Junior Resident at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute.

Dr. Vishakha is an MBBS graduate who is currently serving the government by working as a Junior resident at BMCRI, India.
Having graduated as magna cum laude she not only is interested in academics and research but also loves teaching and believes strongly that patient education is the most vital and crucial step in disease prevention.
Having been involved in two research projects under Dr. Amith Kumar Jain ( father of modern diabetic foot India ), Dr. Vishakha has wide knowledge in the field of vascular disease, especially in patients affected with Diabetes mellitus.
She is here to simplify complex medical concepts and make sure that patients understand the same with ease.
