COVID-19 has become the greatest challenge the world currently faces. Truly a matter of life and death, the pandemic has severely impacted our lives, our healthcare systems, hospitals and medical facilities, healthcare professionals, medical research, governments, world markets, the economy and humanity itself. Many new medical questions have arisen such as, how does this affect surgeries and transplants? What new or additional precautions and procedures are necessary for dialysis, blood transfusions and blood draws? How has COVID-19 affected Diabetes and Kidney Disease patients, dialysis centers, treatment and medical procedures?
