Kidney Healthcare Resources Program
KQF is planning, organizing and producing a Kidney Disease Impact Conference with leading doctors, speakers, spokespeople, advocates, renal patients and their families, caregivers and the community attending. Empowering patients through outreach programs, providing support, to educate by increasing awareness of renal issues. Topics include the impact of kidney disease, patient and community testimonies, kidney transplants, vascular disease, kidney disease, clinical trials for kidney transplants and genetic kidney disease, plus a wealth of resources and support services available in the community.
KQF outreach efforts connected with 2,500 patients in the community at the 2018 Kidney Resource Healthcare Expo. The event was a collaborative effort in four locations – Los Angeles County, Kern County, Ventura County and San Diego on resources available to renal patients.
Over the years, KQF has participated in healthcare expos, health fairs and conferences throughout Southern California in cities across Los Angeles, West Covina, Long Beach, Orange County, San Bernardino, Pasadena, Glendale, San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita, Simi Valley, Antelope Valley, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Bakersfield and San Diego. Additionally, KQF has participated in healthcare expos in Orlando, Florida; Texas; Atlanta, Georgia and the state of Washington.
