Emergency Backpack Program

The Kidneys Quest Foundation would like to introduce the KQF Emergency Back Pack Program. This will benefit patients (adults as well as children) living with a kidney disorder. We provide over to 500 Emergency backpacks every 72months, which contain supplies needed by kidney patients in the event of any kind of emergency. Our expectation is to deliver for the purchase of the backpacks and supplies that will go into the backpack. It is our intent to provide backpacks to up to 300 children at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and to 200 adult patients at dialysis units.

  • • KQF Emergency Backpack Relief Program targets individuals with Chronic Kidney Disease unaware of the importance of having an emergency plan
  • • The emergency backpack is suited for the individual needs of the patient to survive a crisis, an emergency or a natural disaster.
  • • Patients learn steps they need to take and the type of materials they need for emergencies depending on individual renal diet/health requirements and conditions.
