I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana where I graduated from high school from Warren Central High school. I graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. For the past 30 years I worked as an administrator at Las Virgenes Unified School District in Calabasas, California. Our annual budget exceeded 94 million dollars. I was in charge of purchasing, warehousing, negotiation and administrations of contracts, including construction contracts. During my tenure at Las Virgenes, I completed the construction of four new schools, two performing arts facilities and major remodels of three older schools. I am very familiar with state and local laws pertaining to purchasing, bidding and construction law. I feel that these skills will be very useful on the Kidney Quest Board. Prior to working at Las Virgenes USD, I was employed at the University of Southern California as the Purchasing Director for the Auxillary Services Department. In 2012 I retired from active employment.
